Painter. Born in July 12, 1910 in the town of Yuzivka, now the town of
Donetsk — died in September 24, 1991 in the town of Kharkiv. Graduated from Kharkiv Art
Institute (1938-41; 1944-47), teachers S. Prokhorov, Yu. Sadylenko, O. Kokel. Member of
KhB UAU from 1960. Participant in Republican, All-Union and International exhibitions from
1951. Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv — 1961, 1972. Was the Director and a teacher of
Kharkiv I. Yu. Repin Art School for Children (1947-66), Assistant at Painting Department
in KhSAI (1947-50). |
