Bezkhutry Mykola Mykytovych

 
         
  Art critic. Born in October 16,1919 in the town of Kharkiv - died in October 12,1995 in the same place. Took part in the WWII military actions. Graduated from Kharkiv's O. M. Horky State University (1938-41; 1945-46), teachers M. Tkachenko and M. Nakonechny. Member of KhB UAU from 1960. Worked at the Kharkiv Art Museum as a research worker, Secretary of Academic Council, Head of the museum's section, Chief keeper (from 1949). Was published from 1939. In his research and popular science works paid much attention to Ukrainian pre-revolutionary and modern art. Among his works are: “S. I. Vasylkivsky” (K. 1954), “O. M. Dovhal” (K., 1962), “Sunny Artist” (K., 1967), “Artists of Kharkiv” Kh. 1967), “Born for the second time” (K., 1971). Took part in compiling “History of Ukrainian Art” (vol. 4, book 2.
