Graphic artist. Born in September 28, 1904 in the town of
Borzna, now Chernihiv region — died in August 11, 1974 in the city of Kharkiv. Graduated
from Kharkiv Art Institute (1922-29), teachers I.Padalka, V.Yermylov, M.Fedorov. Member of
KhB UAU from 1938. Participant in Republican and International exhibitions from 1927.
Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv - 1966, 1983, Cincinnati (USA) - 1991. Worked at Kharkiv
Polygraphic institute (1934-36), Kharkiv Institute of Art and Architecture (1931-37, with
intervals; Ass. Professor from 1935, worked at publishing houses (1937-41), Trade Chamber
and Kharkiv art-industrial enterprize of Art Fund of UkrSSR (1949-53). |
