Painter, graphic artist, poster artist. Honoured Worker of Culture of
Ukraine (since 1987). Born in March 12, 1926 in the vil. of Petropavlivka, Novosybirsk
region. Took part in the WWII military actions. Graduated from KhSAS (1950-52), Kharkiv's
State O. M. Horky University (1952-57), KhAII (1970-73), teacher M.Slipchenko, M.Hnoyovy,
Ye.Zherdzytsky, A.Kuzmenko. Member of KhB UAU since 1964, headed the Commission on
aesthetic education of children and youth of KhB UAU (1967-91). Participant in Republican,
All-Union and International exhibitions since 1960. Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv -
1991-1997. Worked as the Director of Kharkiv I. Yu. Repin Art School for Children
(1966-97). Author of the book “Development of younger children's artistic abilities”
