Painter, monumental-decorative artist. People's Artist of
Ukraine (from 1984), Correspondent-Member of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine (from 1997).
Born in August 2,1924 in the city of Kharkiv - died in June 5,1998 in the same place. Took
part in the WWII military actions. Graduated from KhSAI (1947-53), teachers O.Liubymsky,
M.Rybalchenko, P.Kotov, L.Chernov, M.Shaposhnykov. Member of KhB UAU since1956, Head of
Section of Painting KhB UAU (1972-76; 1981-98). Participant in exhibitions from 1951,
All-Union and foreign from 1953. Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv - 1989,1995,1998;
Simferopol — 1997. Worked at KhAII, professor (from 1978). |
