Art critic. Born in May 20,1941 in the town of Smolensk. Graduated from
Lviv's State I. Franko University (1962-67), teachers S.Rudnytsky, O.Chycherin,
K.Trofymchuk. Member of KhB UAU since 1992, Union of Art Historians and Art Critics of CIS
countries since 1992. Has been published since 1968. Works in the field of ancient
Ukrainian and modern art. Pays special attention to creative work of Ukrainian masters of
landscape genre of late 19th - early 20th centuries, as well as problem of Jewish art
development in the context of Polish and Ukrainian cultures which was reflected in
magazines and newspapers, booklets, catalogues. Has been living in Germany since 1995. |
