Graphic artist. People's Artist of Ukraine (from 1963). Born in December
27,1910 in the vil. of Orikhivka, now Poltava region - died in April 10,1964 in the city
of Kharkiv. Graduated from Kharkiv Art Institute (1931—36), teacher V.Kasiyan.
Participant in Republican, All-Union and foreign exhibitions from 1932. Personal
exhibitions: Kharkiv - 1940,1944,1954, 1975; Moscow - 1946, Sumy - 1953, Kyiv - 1958. Was
a teacher at KhAI-KhAII (1937-64), professor (from 1961). |
