Graphic artist, monumental-decorative artist, art critic. Born in February
17, 1929 in the city of Vladyvostok. Studied at Vilnius Art Institute (1947-48), teacher
Y. Kuzminskis; graduated from KhSAI (1948-53), teachers H.Bondarenko, V.Myronenko,
Y.Daits, A.Strakhov, a post-graduate course at M T.Rylsky Institute of Art Studies, Folk
Arts and Ethnography, AS Ukr. SSR (1956-60), head V.Kasian. Member of KhB UAU since 1972.
Participant in Republican, All-Ukrainian, All-Union and foreign exhibitions since 1954.
Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv - 1969, 1995, 1998; Simferopol -1997. Works at KhAS,
teacher. As an art critic has been published since 1954. Author of album “Fedir Hnidy”
(K., 1980), numerous catalogues, booklets, magazine articles on problems of Ukrainian
