Painter, graphic artist, art critic. Born in August 30, 1924 in the vil.
of Shysheno, Belhorod region. Invalid of WWII. Graduated from KhSAI (1947-53), teachers
O.Kokel, S.Besedin. Member of KhB UAU since 1971. Participant in exhibitions since 1952,
Republican since 1965. Personal exhibitions: Town of Chuhuyiv (Kharkiv reg.) - 1984,1985;
town of Lozova (Kharkiv reg.) - 1984,1985; Kharkiv - 1985,1997; vil. of Parkhomivka
(Kharkiv reg.) - 1997. Was the Director of the Kharkiv Art Museum (1960-87). Author of
magazine and newspaper articles on problems of creative work of pre-revolutionary and
contemporary Kharkiv artists, guide-books, leaflets and an album about the Kharkiv Art
