Graphic artist, poster artist. Born in February 2, 1912 in the vil. of
Abramove, now Nyzhny Novhorod region - died in May 21, 1981 in the city of Kharkiv. Took
part in the WWII military actions. Graduated from Penza Art School (1934-38), Institute of
Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of the All-Russia Academy of Arts in Leninhrad
(1939-41; 1948-52), teachers O.Pakhomov, H.Vereisky, I.Horushkin-Sorokopudov, K.Rudakov.
Member of KhB UAU from 1958. Participant in Republican, All-Union and International
exhibitions from 1954. Was a teacher at KhAII (from 1953), Ass. Professor (from 1960). |
