Shmatko Leonid Oleksandrovich


	Painter, monumental-decorative artist. Honoured Artist of Ukraine (from 1977). Born in March 12,1917 in the city of Kharkiv — died in February 4,1981 in the same place. Graduated from KhSAI (1937-41; 1946-49), teachers S.Prokhorov, O.Kokel, S.Besedin. Member of KhB UAU from 1951. Participant in Republican and All-Union exhibitions from 1949.
