Painter, graphic artist, theatre-decorative artist,
Honoured Artist of Ukraine (since 1977). Born in July 3,1917 in the town of Bohodukhiv,
Kharkiv region, took part in the WWII military actions. Graduated from Kharkiv Art
Technical School (1932-38), teachers O.Kokel, V.Ryftin, M.Dobronravov, and KhSAI (1938-41;
1946-48), teachers M.Burachek, O.Khvostenko-Khvostov, D.Ovcharenko, Yu.Sadylenko. Member
of KhB UAU since 1950. Participant in Republican, All-Union, International and foreign
exhibitions since 1949. Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv - 1953,1997; town of Bohodukhiv
Kharkiv reg.) — 1967; town of Krasnohrad (Kharkiv reg.) - 1985; town of Merefa (Kharkiv
reg.) - 1988. Vorks at KhAS (since 1947), teacher-methodologist in the special disciplines
