Art critic. Born in November 16, 1937 in the city of Kharkiv. Graduated
from Kharkiv's O. M. Horky State University (1955-60), teachers T.Alekseyeva,
A.Vereshchahina. Member of KhB UAU since 1988. Works at KhAII, professor, Candidate of Art
Criticism. Author of a research work “Kharkiv school of art and its role in formation of
artistic education system in Ukraine in the 18th century” (1976), numerous articles on
problems of modern Ukrainian art of 1920-30s “Boichukist Ivan Padalka” (1995),
“Mykhailo Boichuk and Diego Rivera” (1995), “Boichukism in the light of the problem
of academic and folk art relations" (1996), “Graphic school of Ivan Padalka”
(1996), “Master of drawing Vasyl Sedliar” (1997) and others; articles on problems of
modern art “0n Image Expression of the Kharkiv Underground stations" (1986),
