Graphic artist. Born in December 29, 1910 in the city of Kharkiv - died in
November 12, 1972 in the same place. Graduated from Kharkiv Art Institute (1931-36),
teachers V.Kasiyan, S.Hryhoriyev, M.Fradkin. Member of KhB UAU from 1950. Participant in
Republican, All-Union and International exhibitions from 1949. Personal exhibitions:
Tallinn, Tartu (Estonia) - 1976. Worked with publishing houses of Ukraine and Romania as
an artist-illustrator, was the Director of the Kharkiv State Art Museum (1952-59). |
