Painter, graphic artist. Honoured Worker of Art of Ukraine (since 1992),
Academician of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine (since 1997). Born in December 31, 1953 in
the town of Taldy-Kurhan, Kazakhstan. Graduated from KhAII (1974-79), teacher B.Kosarev,
and a post-graduate course at Creative Workshops of the USSR Academy of Arts (Head -
academician S. Hryhoryev; 1985-88, Kyiv). Member of KhB UAU since 1982. Participant in
exhibitions since 1978, Republican, All-Union, All-Ukrainian, International and foreign
since 1979. Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv - 1989,1992,1997,1998; Kyiv - 1993, 1998; Lviv -
1995; Alma-Ata (Kazakhstan) - 1996. Worked at KhAII (1979-85; 1989-92), Ass. Professor
(since 1990). Vice-President of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Deputy Head of Union of
