Painter, graphic artist, poster artist. People's Artist of
Ukraine (from 1966). Born in November 16, 1915 in the vil. of Velyka Rohozianka, now
Kharkiv region - died in October 24, 1994 in the city of Kharkiv. Took part in the WWII.
Graduated from Kharkiv Art College (1934-38) and Kharkiv Art Institute (1938-42), teachers
M.Fedorov, S.Prokhorov, O.Khvostenko-Khvostov. Member of KhB UAU from 1942. Participant in
Republican, All-Union and International exhibitions from 1946. Personal exhibitions:
Kharkiv - 1959, 1965, 1975, 1986; Odesa -1959; Lviv - 1966; Kyiv - 1968; town of Zolochiv
(Kharkiv reg.) - 1990. Worked at KhSAI, Ass. professor (from 1949). |
