Painter, monumental artist (panels, murals), graphic artist. Honoured
Artist of Ukraine (from 1973). Born in May 25,1912 in the town of Zhytomyr - died in
August 4,1989 in the city of Moscow. Graduated from Kyiv Art College (1929-33), teacher
L.Kramarenko, Kharkiv Art Institute (1944-48), teachers S.Prokhorov, O.Kokel, M.Derehus.
Member of KhB UAU from 1950. Participant in Republican, All-Union and International
exhibitions from 1948. Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv - 1972, 1989. Worked at KhSAI
(1948-51). |
