Art critic. Candidate of art criticism (since 1992). Born in July 4? 1955
in the town of Arkhangelsk. Graduated from Moscow's M. V. Lomonosov State University
(1972-77), teachers V.Lazarev, V.Hrashchenkov, M.llyin, O.Yevanhulova. Member of KhB UAU
since 1988. since 1978 till 1994 was a research worker and Head of section in the Kharkiv
Art Museum. Works at Kharkiv's State O. M. Horky University. Has been published since
1982. Author of a monograph “Folk art”in 2 volumes (1997) and more than 100 articles
on problems of Russian and Ukrainian pre-revolutionary and modern art. Address: flat
