Zhyzhemsky Volodymyr Mykhailovych

 
     
  Arts and crafts artist (ceramic). Born in December 3, 1923 in the town of Sverdlovsk, now Yekaterynburg died in August 26,1994 in the city of Kharkiv. Took part in the WWII military actions. Graduated from Sverdlovsk Art School (1934-41; 1948-50), Moscow Institute of Arts and Crafts (1951-52), Leninhrad V. H. Mukhina Higher Art Industrial School (1952-57), teachers V.Markov, B.Smyrnov. Member of KhB UAU from 1960. Participant in Republican, Ail-Union and International exhibitions from 1957. Was a teacher at KhAII (from 1963). Worked as an artist at Budy faience factory (195761), worked in the laboratory of Kharkiv Tile factory (1973-75).
