INDIAN
SUMMER
It has charmed all us and bewitched,
Indian Summer, Eden for a while !
It has fallen as gold to the ground,
The Nature which's strivig for rest
It has looked like summing all up,
Opens
its sole, consoles our breast,
But keeps Indian Summer around.
Fades but presents with a smile.
How
short is this fair time of gay!
Indian Summer, life-giving spring,
AlI is hardly warmed by the sun...
Listen its songs like a violin string!
But I ask this Autumn in pray
Shake off your troubles and breath
To continue Indian Summer...
Gift of the Earth which is blest.
