Theatre artist, art critic. Born in April 15, 1923 in the
town of Simferopol, Crimean region. Took part in the WWII. Graduated from KhSAI (1944-49),
teachers D.Ovcharenko, D.Shavykin. Member of KhB UAU since 1960. Participant in
exhibitions since 1949. Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv - 1983, 1993; vil.of Parkhomivka
(Kharkiv reg.) - 1997. Worked at the Kharkiv Regional Drama Theatre as the Chief Artist
(1953-60). Designed about 50 perfomances. Deputy Director on scientific work (1949-53;
since 1960) at the Kharkiv Art Museum.As an art critic investigates creative works of
Ukrainian artists of revolutionary and modern times. Author of guide-books, catalogues,
booklets, scientific articles. Among them album "Dmytro Ovcharenko" (K., 1972),
exhibition catalogues and booklets of V.Myronenko (Kh., 1977), P.Martynovych (Kh., 1981),
