Painter, graphic artist, monumental-decorative artist (murals, panel).
Born in August 27, 1894 in the town of Kharkiv - died in April 15, 1968 in the same place.
Graduated from KhAS (1914-18). Member of union “Tsekh”, group “Union of the
seven”, Association of Artists of Red Ukraine, Union of contemporary creative workers of
Ukraine, member of KhB UAU from 1938. Participant in exhibitions from 1916, foreign from
1928. Personal exhibition: Kyiv — 1941. Was a teacher at studios and Workers' clubs of
Kharkiv (1922-24), worked at “Ahentizo” (1925—28), artist in newspapers
“Komunist”, “Komsomolets Ukrainy” (1928-33), in Association “0blkhudozhnyk”
(1933-41). |
