Graphic artist, art critic. Born in March 9,1907 in the vil. of Rubizhne,
now Kharkiv region — died in January 6,1992 in the city of Kharkiv. Graduated from
Kharkiv Art Institute (1921-29), teacher I.Padalka and a post-graduate course of Ukrainian
Research Institute of History of Material Culture (1929-32). Member of Association of
Revolutionary Art of Ukraine, KhB UAU from 1939. Participant in Republican exhibitions
from 1927. Was a teacher at Kharkiv Institute of Civil Engineers (1935-41); KhAI-KhAII
(1932-48; 1957-79), Ass. Professor. |
